I waited over two months for this appointment. When I arrived at the office, it was closed and no one notified me in advance. This was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Later, I received a phone call where they asked a few questions and said everything was fine. I specifically wanted an in-person visit, not a phone consultation. I've been a patient here for 3 years and would NEVER recommend this place to anyone for fertility treatments. I've been seen 6 times this year to discuss fertility options and each time I'm told "come back and we'll discuss a plan". Each time they push IVF, instead of other options we haven't even tried. At this point, I'm pretty sure they just want my copay and $20k for IVF. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!
We went to blood work and they took 45 minutes at the front desk and the phlebotomists took an unusually long time. UC needs to implement measures to improve employee efficiency and address slow performance.
We had a fantastic experience with the UC Health Center for Reproductive Health team. From the kind receptionists, to every nurse and doctor we worked with - we were always treated with care. I felt encouraged to share questions and concerns throughout the process. It was clear they wanted the best for us and that helped alleviate anxiety. Special thank you to Dr. Johnson, Dr. Hsu, Dr. Ozcan, Dr. Hurley, Dr. Wilhoite - and so many more!
