The staff is wonderful and I appreciate all the work they do to help fight Alzheimer's Disease!
We arrived to our appointment 2 hours early and spoke with the receptionist at UCDavis' walnut creek Dementia Clinic. It wasn't until her actual appointment time that someone came out and canceled our appointment (they even called yesterday to confirm). This is the second time they have canceled last minute. We can't keep taking days off work to be canceled after arrival. Obviously they saw someone else both times instead of us. I doubt we wont be canceled next time. They make you feel like the most unimportant patient.
The staff is very unhelpful, the facilities are minimal, and the neurologist there does not practice in Walnut Creek. For an MRI, they just handed us a prescription, and sent us on our way. We went to John Muir and then weren't told we had to give the disc to UC Davis clinic. Then it took two months after we sent them the disc to get a diagnosis.
