I've had experience with several hospitals and UAMS is by far beyond any other.
Spent more time with the billing department than with a doctor. Warning: some of their specialists don’t pay a facility fee- so YOU will be billed for that. My insurance copay for a specialist is $40, but because of this shady practice, each 5 minute visit to the Oncologist cost me $102.50. And their billing department will never tell you that, but will be sure to let you rack up a significant number of visits before the unexpected bills roll in. I just delivered my baby last week. All the nurses and doctors I had who took great care of me were wonderful. I was able to keep my baby with me in the same room and spend my time with my girl til she was given to her adopted parents. I got discharged before my baby was and I wanted to stay til she was discharged because I wasn't going to leave her in the hospital like my birth parents did with me. And I was able to stay. I so appreciate to all the staff have made it possible for me. So grateful.
I had a Spinal Cord Stimulator implanted 01-13-2020 and from start to finish I was treated so well by all that the whole procedure was a nice experience. DR. Christopher Paul is fine Doctor and young man. His stall is great and the Operation staff in preop, postop, were great at putting you at ease.
They were so helpful and thorough. Went for delivery of our son and it was a wonderful experience
Friendly Staff and procedures took a mini amount of time even though I was worked in an with a 3 hour notice due to a cancellation.
