My name is Joseph Curtis MD. I am a practicing orthopedic surgeon in Montgomery, Alabama. My surgeon Dr. Steven Theiss Who is the chairman of the orthopedic department at UAB did a large anterior poster two level lumbar spinal arthrodesis . This apparently was his first time to do one at St. Vincent’s where they plan to move their spine practice. He is an excellent surgeon and from the surgical standpoint, I’ve had an excellent outcome. Wait time about 5hr +. Rude nurses.
Had to have emergency surgery 05/04/26 3am.The Er process was good.The ICU was terrible,very rude and disrespectful.When I got transferred to a room it was Great.Brandi and her staff were Great.I would give Brandi a 5.The ICU had 3 women take my catheter out?This was very unprofessional.
Clearly they are not there for the patients if so they would clearly have a place for the patients to go have a cigarette for the ones that do smoke. The only reason I have given it a two star is because some of the stuff was very good and polite
