While he may be an amazing surgeon. I was very very unhappy with my follow up after one year of getting shot. I had not been back since my surgery. I was told I could get a brace. Which I had to pay for even though I had two insurances. I did end up ordering it because I need it however I expected some type of medication. There were still broken pieces in my bone so I feel he was negligent and just didn’t care. Dr Johnson did amazing job my amputation above knee but I never see him before surgery or after surgery now past 2 days been trying get ahold of him and nothing for 2 days I eve been asking for a referral be send over for PT and I give the fax number and they say they sent it but the PT place dont get it.... Other reason im call cause the pain i been in for 2 days I stay active I got 3 boys I dont lay around I hop to the car load my stuff up take them school when I grt home I unload it and all i do PT at home.. I’m so thankful Dr. Johnson was able to do my leg and ankle repair surgeries while I was at UAB following a car wreck. The trauma doctors had great respect for his skill level, and he has been easy to talk to as well as helpful in appointments following the surgeries.
Dr Johnson is awesome! I have had Achilles tendonitis issues for a while and now I am ready for surgery on my other foot. I came back to the best dr for this procedure!
I been under his care since 2019 and he's great and very honest and up front
