I have used Dr. Pointer as my primary care physician for many years. She is excellent and does a good job of communicating with her patients. Her front office staff leaves much to be desired, I also must point out that Kirklin Clinic now adds a facility charge of $138 to every office visit. As a result of this I now avoid using other doctors at Kirklin Clinic and when Dr Pointer retires I will search for a primary care physician elsewhwere.
