My first visit was amazing. Surgery is this week. So far, I couldn’t be more confident that my Dr is going to help me!!

I was sent there and told I had damaged due to reflux. That I needed another upper GI to test the area and to be treated like before to make sure the area wouldn't be cancer. The problem is I never been treated and they hasn't called me back in to do another GI. Meanwhile, I can't sleep and hurt. So I'm guessing that they going to wait and I'm not going to treated. All the medical staff, were kind, and courteous!!!!! Also faster than any Dr office I've ever been to!!!! I was even late to my appointment, and they still, worked me in. I'd suggest this to anyone!!!
UAB is internationally renowned for being at the forefront of medical diagnostics, treatment, and care and I saw nothing during my visit to convince me otherwise. I was referred to a GI specialist at Kirklin Clinic and it was 8 months before I could get in. I left without all the answers I was looking for, but I have no doubt I'm in the most capable hands to help me go forward from here.
