Today, May 19, 2025, at 7:20 a.m., I experienced a very painful moment at reception. I felt deeply discriminated against by the lady who attended me. Her mocking look, sarcastic smile, and expression of disgust when she noticed that my English wasn’t perfect made me feel humiliated. I tried to explain myself by showing the translation on my phone, with respect and politeness, but her arrogant response and her “mmm no no…” only deepened my distress. I was so upset 😡 when I 1st made it to the Radiology MRI department bcuz I had prepared for a month 4 this visit and didn't even have the right address. The address Google lists for UAB Radiology leads u to a construction zone inside of a building; very close to a place called Zula's. I made it to my appointment 10 mins early instead of the 30, but I made it! I want to say thank u to the professional and kind ladies who worked on 6/7/24.
