My father has been going through the process of getting dental implants at UAB's School of Dentistry for OVER 2 YEARS now and there's still no end in sight. He received his dentures in the summer and it's just another process of going back, over and over and over to get them adjusted because they never fit right. Also, the parking situation is awful but that's mostly all of UAB's problem. In short, this place is awful and you're better off looking somewhere else.
I am totally dissatisfied with my 1st visit at uab denistry. I was told I would have options for treatment ended up signing 1 estimate (I have no idea my other 2 options) I felt & was pressured to make a decision what I wanted to do & walked out of there still in pain. I asked for antibiotics & was told it was not part of my treatment. She actually looked in my mouth not even for 2 minutes & didn't even look nor act concerned about my gums that I told her were hurting sooooo bad.
