Very dismissive of pre existing conditions and will not listen if you tell them a medicine is making you lose function of your fingers.
Friendly staff. I just wish they told me about the co-pay before I got there.
It takes 6 months to get in. No one provided the address or told me it would take hours on the first visit. Told me to be there at 8 when my appointment started at 9. When I tried to reschedule they wouldn't so I canceled and interview. Sat down with Eric Yelsa (psychologist) he ask3d if I wanted to continue the appointment and I said very clearly yes I had to reschedule an interview to be here and have waited for an hour. Dr Bokat is an exceptional physician. Very knowledgeable, great bedside manner. The clinic is always responsive to my questions and concerns.
The medical team at the Pain Management Center at the University of Utah Health is excellent. Life-changing for me. I began with pain management in April 2025 not being able to walk more than 10 min. once per day due to chronic back pain (pain off and on for decades) to now in June walking 20-30 minutes twice per day.
