I made an online reservation for a 6x12 trailer on Feb 21s to be picked up in or near Arvada, CO on 4/29t. I got an email confirmation stating someone would contact me 4/28 the day prior to my 4/29 pickup. I got a call on 4/28 saying my pickup location is in Glenwood Springs - a 4 hour drive from my house. I'm moving across the country and they canceled my 2 week old reservation less than 24 hours before my pick-up time and was told they don't have any trucks or trailers leaving the state in the foreseeable future. Customer service blamed it on their website giving reservations without knowing inventory and are aware of people reservations made months ago that are being canceled as well. Avoid at all costs.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE/FRAUDULENT CHARGES On Sunday 4/25/21 I rented a Econoline van from a local U-haul vendor at a gas station. When I received the van the gas tank was at about 5/8ths full. After driving a total of 98 miles in a van that averages about 15mpg I got back to the U-Haul vendor and my tank had gone down to just above 3/8ths full so I drove up to the pump and got $15 of gas which brought me back a hair under 5/8ths full. First time in my life I left an appointment for a service without getting what I came for. I wanted to get a trailer hitch and wiring harness installed. 1) No one was in the store. I made a reservation a month before I needed the truck and trailer. I even modified the reservation several weeks after that and no one even suggested the possibility of them not having the equipment they implied they had by never mentioning anything otherwise. After listening to my voicemails/emails it seems they even called/emailed this morning and said they had a truck...then called/emailed back 15 minutes later and said nevermind. Also, since they canceled my reservation (which I never said I wanted, I said I would call back) I am not able to leave a review for my order. I want to reiterate that the customer service people were more than helpful in explaining then issue. They should get a raise for dealing with U-Haul corporate policy failures.
I purchased a tow hitch online to have it installed at my local store, location 400 Orchard Dr West Columbia, 29170, on 3Apr2021. Later that same day I received a confirmation email for my install date for 14Apr2021 at 2pm. When I got to the store they were unaware of any hitch install for me. Uhaul skyway in in Saint Petersburg Florida operates in racial discrimination. They apply damages to cars that Black people have not damaged. When I filed a complaint with corporate they responded rude and would not even reply to my email request a supervisor higher than the person I spoke with me. When I return the truck that we rented from a different U-Haul location the young man there informed that the skyway location always applies damages to black ppl.
