I had booked a reservation back in April for a move set for 6 days and I had no issues. I had canceled and change my reservation to 3 days only and I was told they are only able to rent the trucks out for 24 hours only. I didn't have issues with the other reservation but now that I switch to a shorter reservation it was a issue. I wish I was contacted about the first reservations and the rule change, now I have to change my plans.
Everyone was helpful and friendly and made the transaction very easy!
I was going to leave this review the day of, but I forgot. I had an appointment a couple of weeks ago on April 12th to have a trailer hitch installed on my SUV. I wasn't really looking forward to it because I've done business off and on with U-Haul over several decades now, and the experiences are typically just okay, at best. Traveled all the way from Albuquerque to Waukee. Peter was my first contact in Waukee. Wow!! A true above and beyond professional. And he REALLY knows his job. He is quick in diagnosing trouble spots and rapidly rectifying the issues. Highly recommend this location.
