BEWARE AND DON'T USE THIS LOCATION IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!! This Uhaul location @ Forest Drive Columbia, SC is the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a Uhaul location. The employees (Andrea and Alison) incompetent and unknowledgeable about their equipment or their system. And could care less about customer service. These folks became U-Haul about 2 years ago and really upped their service. I got a phone call the day before to let me know the truck was ready and confirm the pick up time. The staff is really friendly and the office really conveniently located. Easy in and out.

It’s amazing how one socially dysfunctional employee can turn a happy new customer in a good mood and have them leave pissed off and a strong advocate for the competition just by being rude and condescending. I got an oil change here. The next day I noticed a large puddle of oil on my garage floor. I checked the oil, it was dry. I brought the car to my trusted mechanic. He inspected it and found that there was no o-ring on the filter. He also degreased the underside of my car as it was covered in the oil that had leaked as I drove it. He charged me $91 for his service. I returned to Jersey shine and lube and told them my problem. The owner asked why I didn't bring it to them to check out the problem. I was a customer at this facility for over a year and a half. When I decided to move, I rented a U-haul from this facility (choosing to give them my business) using that as my written notice that I would be vacating my unit (within the contractual agreements to get my deposit back). Was the equipment clean and well maintained? Yes Would you recommend this location to a friend? Yes Comments/What can we do to improve for the next customer? The gentleman on site was very accommodating during my move last week. He went above and beyond to assure that I was able to get the maximum amount of time for my rental. He also, thoroughly explained everything in detail.

DO NOT GO HERE! Ill try to keep short. The manager GREG and regional manager ABRAHAM are horrible! If you do get to speak to them, they will always claim ignorance. There were false charges on my account and when I called to have these corrected, Greg was unavailable and then did not call back at all. It had been over 3 days. I had to call each day and apparently he is never available. Beware of this business. They have very dishonest mechanics working for them (paticurlarly Mike Zimmer) - he will fix your car and tell you he is putting new/practically new parts in when in actuality he is using old rusted parts. You will get home to discover your car has leaked all over your garage. When your car won't "start right up" as promised, they will go back on their word and not make the situation right. Tow Truck Driver almost hit my car. Avoid these people. The tow truck driver can't drive in the snow, took a turn too fast and almost slid into my car. If I were 5 seconds faster, the driver would have creamed my car. If these people treat other drivers on the road this way, I would be scared of how they treat my car if they are fixing it.
