My husband was referred here by a GI specialist to get a consultation on his esophogus.. they said the soonest they could get him in was 8 months away. It's been 4 or so months and my husband is not able to swallow food.. he's lost a lot of weight and is withering away. I called to see if they had any sooner appointments and they said his GI specialist would have to call it in to get him in sooner. If I could give ZERO stars I would do this just that. Dr. Kara De Felice was nothing but rude and very passive aggressive. This was a first & last visit to UC. I felt very discriminated against during my visit because of statements that were made. I was asked if I worked and when I responded with no, she asked me WHY & proceeded to ask me if I was on disability. Sorry Dr Kais, I know you must be extremely busy. But my appt in January 2025 netted a lot of tests, which you have yet to go over with me. The late May 2025 follow-up where we were to cover these tests, your staff canceled last minute at your request. They tried to get me to follow up SIX MONTHS later; I've had this infection since Sept/Oct 2024. I went to that May 2025 appt anyway to make sure, and yes you were seeing EVERYBODY ELSE but me. Totally disorganized and can't uphold basic communication between departments. Incompetent scheduling. Puts people in bad situations at the last minute. Dr Danielson is overworked, non caring, and rude.
Rude staff. They talk so rude to the new patients through phone. They do not have a will to answer the questions.
