Entire staff was friendly and courteous. Dr. Tyson was very informative and explained in detail cataract surgery and the lens replacement options. He made me feel at ease with the upcoming procedure. I feel I made the right choice by coming to his Naples location.

I had an annual eye exam and was very satisfied with Dr. Brienan. He spent a long time explaining things and discussing options. It is obvious that great attention is placed on individualizing patients' needs. The receptionist was welcoming. The wait time was short. It was Dr. David Stephens at Tyson Eye that I had an appointment with, and I absolutely loved him. I was born and raised 52 years in NY before moving to Florida, and trying to obtain a doctor that meets my standards at times can be challenging. I've been to two other optometrists in Cape Coral, FL. The environment and personnel in Dr. Tyson's office made me feel comfortable in their care. They were very careful in recording my medical/surgical history as well as my medications and allergies. The exams were performed well and the results thoroughly explained. Dr. Kaplan was excellent and has referred me to Dr. Tyson for cataract consult. Scheduling for both appointments were within 2 weeks of my call.
I went to Tysoneye to get a consulate from my eye dr. Had severe blurring in my left eye. Dr. Tyson's assistant made me feel at ease as she had worked at St Luke's hospital where I had my cataracts removed 5 years ago. After all tests were completed in a very professional manner. Opted for the upgraded cataract surgery ( 4,000 per eye) was told my eyesight would be upgraded from watching a 60’s tv to watching a tv in HD. Not true. I went back in one month to complain about blurriness. I was told the gel they installed has coagulated and should clear up. I waited 5 more months never cleared up. When I went in I was now told that there is a floater that needs to be removed. This was not explained to me on the 1 month visit but now that is the problem.
