Best Restaurant in Statesville. There's no need to drive to Cornelius or Mooresville anymore. Shrimp and Grits entree is incredible, this coming from a girl that lived in Charleston for 4 years. Really had high hopes for this place.. It looks the part of a high quality restaurant and the food wasn't bad but we waited forever on it. There were several instances of poor service we as a group weren't satisfied with but the one that sticks out in my opinion is when one of the guys ordered a certain kind of beer and the waitress brought him a different one hoping he wouldn't know the difference. My husband and I would highly recommend the Twisted Oak to anyone and everyone. It has all the ambience of a high class restaurant yet the staff and owners are the greatest and nicest people around! I am a fan and will tell anyone who will listen that they will not be disappointed if they dine there or stop in for a glass of wine or a beer (to which there is an extensive variety!) PS Try the pizza shop downstairs too! It a guaranteed must go to and pizza extraordinaire!
Awesome food ... The fried green tomatoes where AMAZING...We are from Miami and wanted to try something different.. We where extremely happy with this Resturant .. Definitely recommend it and We will definitely be back..
Enjoyed dinner here! Will return very soon. Staff was friendly but did not hover...let our table talk without letting is feel ignored. Atmosphere was great and the place is beautifully decorated. The food is fantastic...our table had the salmon, shrimp & grits and beef stroganoff...they all were "slap your Momma" good! I would suggest this place 100%. Go enjoy!!!
