We always make it a point to drive through Statesville whenever we travel just to eat here! It's always been great food with great friendly service!
Great atmosphere....menu offers a lot....friendly staff....unique sweet potato hush puppies were fabulous. I wouldn't change a thing.
A really special place. Very cool atmosphere -- an old livestock auction house -- combined with fantastic Southern Cuisine. The fried green tomatoes were a little heavy on the breading, but the spicy pimento cheese between each layer made each bite scrumptious. Then came the main event... Our first visit to Twisted Oak was last night and it was fabulous, everything from food to service. We're still talking about the firecracker shrimp and absolutely loved our server/bartender Wes who went above and beyond. Excellent beer and wine list. Being 5 months pregnant, Wes found out and without being asked offered to create a "mocktail" for me. We'll be back very soon.
Outstanding! Food was amazing, wait staff was fast, efficient and friendly. If I am ever in Statesville again, I will come here. Recommended it to my niece for a date night.
The food itself was good. The problem was with the service. Not accommodating at all.. Waitress threw NO answers out on things that should have been checked first.Unfortunately there are so many other places to try & eat we will never go back:( sad b/c as I said the food wasn't the issue..
Just had an amazing experience with the family. Food was great and Wes was the right server for the evening - professional and informative. We can highly recommend any burger or the Meatloaf. Will try the steak next time.
First time and we loved it! The sweet potato hush puppies were amazing...all the food was great!
Steak was tough not any flavor 2 it been a few times not happy with the food
