About this business

This is a funky little spot in the middle of the stereotypically conservative Alamo Heights neighborhood. It serves breakfast and dinner, but is most popular for lunch. The soup-and-sandwich-type lunch menu and daily specials have a decidedly healthy and sometimes vegetarian, bent. Don't miss the iced herbal tea, the spinach salad or the turkey burger. I was disappointed that I was told a flat "no, cant do it" on subbing a cup of soup instead of potatoes (I'd been happy to pay an upcharge) I had the turkey burger for lunch & am burping up something moldy & my tummy is hurting and is definitely off. I think the garlic in the burger could have been bad.
