I went to Vivian Castillo to renew Fmla paperwork. She asked when I needed it by. I told by the end of the following week. I called for 4 days to not get even answer on phone. So I went into her office. She would not even acknowledge me and had me wait 2 hrs in lobby. She told her staff that she never told me that. She let me sit in office as I cried because she was just blowing me off. Her staff showed me her notes and she had put down that she completed my paperwork. Loved Dr. Castillo, but getting through on the phone and getting a call back was too much of a problem. Had to switch to another doctor and office.
Dr Castillo is a very sweet lady but her office is a disaster! I've been going to here for several years and have seen the practice fall apart. It takes days to get a call back for a few reasons, one they are only open 3 1/2 days out if the week and her office manager, I think her name is Shelby is too busy taking care of her kids that are at the office on a regular basis. Dr. Castillo is incredibly compassionate and thorough. I cannot recommend her practice enough.
Looking forward to my first visit with Doctor Castillo today. Curious way to connect with a doctor, but I had just fallen in the street, had some road rash, and met Dr Castillo at a nearby restaurant coincidentally. She told me how to care for the wounds, and I said to myself, I want this person for my doctor :). We shall see how it works out...hopeful. 7/2/24 update My review remains 5 stars after a visit today. I made an appointment yesterday, was seen today, and Dr Castillo spent 30 minutes with me.
