I was 10 min early to my appointment and as I am sitting there talking to the front office person handing her my insurance card and Id she informs me that my appointment is cancelled because I did not arrive 30 minutes early!?! I show her the text in my phone which is now exactly the time of my appointment and I am told that I received a phone call informing me that I was to be there 30 min early. I’ve been seeing Dr. Sanders at Orange Grove Family Practice for over 20 years. Although we don’t always agree, he is always fair, and listens. He is very knowledgeable and is willing to work with you to resolve your condition. He has recently scaled back his commitments so he can focus even more time on his patients. I’ve tried other doctors over the years, but they, like most doctors it seems, just want prescribe a pill and sent you on your way. I’ve always gone back to Doc Sanders.
do I recommend this office? absolutely not. I was a patient for many years until I moved out of state. when I moved back to tucson. came back to orange grove family practice. today I had what they considered a new patient appointment spent 40 minutes waiting on them to call me back when I informed dr vance Sanders that I thought I was having blood sugar issues. he responded "the symptoms you are having sounds like you are reading them from a text book but you have a history of migraines" prescribed me 2 different medications... read more
I moved here from another state and needed a medical practice. Do not waste your time. I have called repeatedly for a prescription and cannot get the medical assistant attached to my doctor to return a call after calling and leaving messages for two weeks. Horrible service.
Very bad experience with this office and specifically with Dr. Vance Sanders (who I have seen about once a year for the past 12 years), but I now have come to the personal belief that he has low ethical standards with regards to billing and coding. I have lost confidence in Dr. Vance Sanders. I will not be going back, and I do not recommend.
They have no idea how to do their billing. They keep adding charges to your bill even after you pay up front and in full.
