go elsewhere – I will never understand the expectation to add a gratuity to poor service. For that I feel embarrassed. The salon prices were much higher than I expected from a small spa like this. More so, I felt sorry for the woman that provided my services. She was awkward and noticeably trembling while performing her job. Bad day maybe? The best salon and spa! – This is a relaxing spa and upbeat salon! Fun girls! Loved my facial while I was pregnant had them regular!! Couldn't get comfortable for a massage! The products couldn't be more amazing!!! Always great online specials to watch for!!

not for me... – I was so excited to try this salon and the hype over the Aveda products. I received a great hair color and cut, but was not so impressed with the attitude of the staff. I did get what I paid for. However, the downside was my facial treatment. It was not what I expected. I think it's interesting that a salon would allow someone to perform their duties as an esthetican with so little personality and so little respect for her client. Nothing Special – I was recommended to this salon by a friend. I knew that Aveda products were of average quality to begin with, however, if you add very poor service then you're doomed to have an experience that is far less than what you pay. My wax and facial were one of the worst I have experienced. Very bummed - Disappointed with Esthetician – I'm truly bummed. Sadly, I left very disappointed with my experience at TS. My esthetician was terrible, unprofessional and lacked confidence. Unfortunately, she has a steep learning curve ahead, she lacked the true sense of AVEDA skin products and cosmetics and the clientele's individual needs. Awesome Salon and Spa. I loved the staff! – Nicest Aveda Salon I have been in. Spa was great for and the massage was very professional and was accompanied with the Aveda foot bath and aroma journey. I have had 2 haircuts from the staff and as a man I felt very at home without to much of the lady frills. Great talent and products. The day I was there the Aveda people were there as well. Energy was fun.

Worst Customer Service...and HairCut/Color – I visited the new Gig Harbor location in the Uptown Shopping Center. I made an appointment with a new stylist with their facility. After three hours in the chair, a bleached sweater, an un-even color, and jagged haircut I called the manager the next day to complain. After several rounds with management regarding the issue, they defended their stylist and said that I knew the stylist was "new" suggesting that I should have expected less than a great cut/color. Best Salon and Spa in town!!!! – Ok... so I was reading reviews on what spa to go to in the harbor and went to Jax- Boy was the service and hair cut not at all like I expected. WORST HAIRCUT EVER! – I visited TS new UpTown Gig Harbor location and received the worst haircut of my life. The stylist cut into my neck with a straight razor leaving me with a huge gash across the back of my neck. My wife was furious as was I. When she called to complain the front desk staff told her there was nothing they could do about it and HUNG UP! Ouch!
