Had my hair for formal event done here. I wanted loose curls. She pinned all my hair to my head. Makeup was bad too. Would not recommend and will never go back. Felt like the event was ruined for me because I was so unhappy w hair and makeup.

Good experience at first, then bad – This place looked so good at first, I had a very nice experience with waxing, but in my opinion, a huge flaw in this place is obsession with time.A very unpleasant experience happened to me there when I was doing my hair for my wedding. I got 10 minutes later than the actual time and the lady that was doing my hair refused to wash it before working on it because of that small time delay. Alright – I have been to the salon before... It was alright i felt very rushed tho and the person who did my brazillian did not do a very good job... I called to make a hair appointment about 7 times throught out the day and not once did the receptionist pick up the phone... Pretty bad customer service...

Horrible Waxing – I just moved to Washington and was looking for a new salon. I have had great experiances at Veda salons so I gave it a try. I got an eyebrow and lip wax and was very unsatisfied. When I left the back and looked in the mirror I knew why the girl didn't give me a mirror after she was done. My eyebrows had two different shapes going on and she took off way too much. Awesome Haircut! – I recently went to the Aveda Salon in Olympia and was very pleasantly surprised! I don't usually pay more than $15 for a haircut since I usually just have them cut it short with zero styling, but I felt like I could use a new "do" and chose this place based upon a few suggestions. HORRIBLE!!!! – If I could give zero stars I would. I was treated so poorly and when I complained to the manager she could not have been more rude! It was NOT relaxing. I felt like I was at a community trailer park cut-a-thon rather than a high-end salon! I expect so much more from an Aveda spa. I can't tell people loud enough- STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Great wax jobs – Wow...not sure why some people gave this place negative reviews. I'm glad I didn't see this before I went in...otherwise I probably would have missed out on some wonderful spa experiences. The staff was very professional and courteous and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The first time I went, I had my first Brazilian wax. I was extremely nervous about it but the esthetician put me right at ease. I have since been back for brow waxes and a facial that was amazing. Full Service? – Full service? I suppose that is what you will receive. Front desk was typical of any service, no complaints there. I was celebrating my Birthday at the spa! The hair color/cut was really spendy for my short hair, Did not encourage the J and Kate plus 8 hair style but pretty sure that is what I woke up with or something similar to it. Good experience- Will go back again – I admit- I became slightly nervous about my massage appointment after stumbling across the reviews on this site. I decided to go ahead and try it out anyways because they were having a special this month and massages were 50% off. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience!
