Really delicious! Was not greasy at all. Ive never had pho and I'm a very picky eater and I loved it all!!
***Awesome sauce*** Try the Boom Cha Hanoi. Very traditional dishes.
I ordered steamed chicken, something i order frequently at several restaurants. I Had to ask for Ginger garlic sauce. Something that is always included elsewhere. The sauce they served me looked like a serving of the regular vietnamese sauce the serve with egg rolls and meats but with a small amount of ginger grated in it. the worst offence was their serving size. The amount of chicken they served was really small. First time that I was still hungry after eating a meal in this neighborhood (in 20 years)
The beef and tripe Pho...best I've ever had. Friendly staff.
Food is very good, their noodles are always excellent. House made noodles are the best I have tried.
Ok, nothing special (rom a Vietnamese perspective). Thought it would be better in San Francisco than other places in US and it was not. Noodles were overcooked and broth was greasier. 3 bean dessert had undercooked mung beans and portions were not as generous. I got better pho in Greenville, SC, believe it or not. There are better Viet restaurants in Chinatown in San Francisco.
This place is spot on pho style restaurant, close to the Regency Ballroom and Social Hall on Sutter why I always choose to go there and also up the road from the AMC theatre on Van Ness. The service was real friendly and didn't take long to order and get our bowls to our table. Perfect for that cold windy days in the city and a new favorite spot for when I'm in that area visiting the city.
