I normally don’t do this but I feel everyone should be aware that the HOA nor the Turner Homes will fix or help fix the water leak coming from the outside of my townhouse around a window and into the second bedroom. I have reached out to both and both are denying to repair the leak, so a three year old townhouse has to have the siding removed and repair the poor sealing of a window that shouldn’t be leaking at only three years old.

I bought a Turner condo . They did not finish the punch list. A pressure ball was left in the plumbing & when they got it out all the gravel under my porch poured out. They threw gravel sideways & said it was fine. So now there is no support under the porch. Now my driveway is crumbling & I realize concrete cracks but crumble? It was poured in the rain . It could have been going on early on but just now noticed after our freeze. If you want a forever home don’t pick Tuner Homes. You will wish you hadn’t!

I've admired Turner homes for several years now. My dream home is The Cedar. I know they are well built and sturdy to handle a storm. However, due to the economy and job status I will have to wait until later to purchase. I talk about the Turner Homes all the time. I believe they are the Best Going right now in my opinion. Average home... And DO NOT skip your final review like me cause everything I was told in good faith that would be fixed has not been and I had to fix the showerhead myself!!! (COULDN'T SHOWER FOR THE FIRST WEEK OF OWNING MY HOME) Not to mention being nice and haven't even heard back from them for 14+ days after using the builder network that they say to use when I try to call and ask for help.... And my foundation is literally getting water in it cause the way they build the yard is swamping up... I am a very upset homeow... read more

I bought a Turner Townhome a year ago and even though it still needed a few repairs, I was told I had to close on the home or forfeit it. I was told the repairs would be made after the closing. I have submitted claims regarding my damaged countertop on Buildertrend at least 6 times over the last year and multiple workers have inspected it. This damage occurred when the mirror was broken during installation. It has never been repaired and I don't feel there was ever any intention to fix it. Similar to a bait and switch, just ... read more

I bought a townhouse in the snowmass subdivision in Knox county. It took four times digging up the sewer lines on our unites for them to get their work to pass but only with one of their people saying that turner homes would be responsible for the lines for ever. Poop does not run up hill. They build with lumps in the floors up stairs. Then want to plain an already thin plywood down to solve the problem if you threaten them with having the county inspector they do as you ask somewhat poor work did not fix side to side. My ne... read more

Business response:

Turner Homes is committed to building quality homes for our friends and neighbors in East Tennessee. All homes built at our Snowmass subdivision were done in compliance with Knox County and local utilities. These were inspected by those authorities at multiple points throughout the build, and passed all inspections, culminating in a final building approval, and Certificate of Occupancy. Turner Homes is also proud to offer a very robust warranty program, and our team does a great job of repairing anything that needs attention... read more

This contractor picks how much sub contractor get paid, not invoiced on overall contract and work done.

Business response:

Turner Homes is committed to fair compensation of all subcontractors for work that has been completed. Unfortunately, this subcontractor did not do the work for which he invoiced, so we were not able to make payment. We invited the subcontractor to send a revised invoice, with proof of work completed, and have not received that from him, to this point.
