I dropped off a couple watches for service (both running) in February, finally had to call go pick them up in July, thats ok good work takes time I figure. One has stopped working, didn't even last a day. We all get old, mistakes happen but when he tried selling me an accessory for 2-3 times retail thats the last straw, I won't risk taking the watch back. To his credit he's not taking in anymore work, mostly bad luck I caught him at the end of his career.
A colleague of mine had an absolutely disgusting experience with this business in regards to watch repair. I would highly recommend seeking other professionals in this area as there is no reason to take confidence in this service provider.
I have had a very sad experience here. I brought my parents mantle clock to be maintenanced, for which he said he would charge $650. As an afterthought I needed my Tag Heuer Link watch battery replaced, which he identified as needing pressure testing, at a cost of $85...Lugaro charges $75, so in line. Took my watch in for a cleaning, resizing and new battery. Service was prompt, price was reasonable, and the owner was super friendly! Plus he has an amazing selection of items available for the purchase within the shop. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be going back again!!
