RecommendedI've been a patient here I had a stroke everyone here at the hospital is awesome delicious food, they need to teach Tulane downtown how to cook. Physical therapy is awesome. I got treated with nothing but respect and kindness from everyone thank you so much Tulane-Lakeside hospital I was tell everyone I know to come here. Thanks for all your help.Wendy Balser

I had surgery on the 24th with Dr.Alexander and he is amazing! Everyone I encountered at this hospital was amazing and made me feel at ease. I’d like to give a special shout out to my nurses once I was in a room. Riley and Chrissy, you were so special and made me feel like a spoiled child while in your care! I honestly didn’t want to leave and was sad when your shifts were over. If I ever have another procedure, I would only use this hospital! I love love this place! I drove almost 4 hours to be there.

Worst experience I have ever had visiting a ER. I never have been so angry at a health professional. My husband and I do not have insurance yet. My husband is diabetic he is completely out of his medication afraid he might have to be admitted. Waited 3 hours for help. We were lectured by the doctor about not having insurance just moved!! The doctor was very rude and unprofessional. Refused to give him medication. Said we had to go to a free clinic. They laughed at us when we left we never checked out. We brought our son to the ER for broken arm. We tried urgent care first but the way the break was, he needed pediatric orthopedic so we went to Lakeside. The ER doctor, Dr Castillo, was so compassionate. Our son was in intense pain. He kept checking on him and communicating with the ortho doc. They decided he needed surgery so we were transferred to Children’s. From the time we walked in until we were wheeled out, Anne was our nurse. She was INCREDIBLE!
