A few years ago, I was in a tough spot, I had no money & a myriad of issues with my vehicle. No one in town was willing to help me knowing I couldn’t pay for the work up front (understandably, I know businesses get ripped off everyday). HORRIBLE service since Rick retired. My car started stalling and I took it to Tuffy, where I was told I needed to pay them $1600 for a new battery and remanufactured alternator. When I told them I wasn't going to do that, they kept stalling and telling me they could "look around for more options", and would not give me back my car keys. The owner kept changing his story about what was wrong with my car and when I finally got my keys and was on my way out, he admitted "it might not even be the alternator". Tuffy's has always been honest, great to work with & reasonable with their prices. They get to know you as a person and will not push repairs on you if it's not in your best interest. I've experienced this twice with them recently. All of their mechanics are top notch & honest. It's a locally owned franchise, so they are truly part of our community. Our family is so glad that we have them to take care of our cars for us.
