About this business

This is Tucson's main venue for the performing arts, home of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and the Arizona Opera, as well as the locale for pop music concerts, sports events and major trade conventions. A result of 1970s style urban renewal, it is only somewhat interesting stylistically compared to the old adobe buildings that were bulldozed to make room for what now stands. Sound system was terrible (could not make out many words spoken by singers when speaking to the audience); seats were too narrow and tight; the rows were too narrow. Very uncomfortable being that tight in the seats/row. Band was fantastic!

I recently had a serious accident that put me temporarily in a wheelchair, but the TCC hooked me up with handicap seating. They made it very easy to accommodate my needs.

Been to this venue several times. I paid a lot of money to get good seats so my grandson could see. The problem is a quarter of the stage was obscured by the rigging for the show and the row didn’t lock so the entire row rocked every time someone moved. There were 2 seats in the front row that were empty but we were not allowed to move there because they cost more. Not sure what difference it would have made since they were empty anyway.
