This is Tucson's main venue for the performing arts, home of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and the Arizona Opera, as well as the locale for pop music concerts, sports events and major trade conventions. A result of 1970s style urban renewal, it is only somewhat interesting stylistically compared to the old adobe buildings that were bulldozed to make room for what now stands. Seating needs work, but the venue was reasonably staffed and the show was pleasant.
The seats are way too narrow! So uncomfortable when you have people on both sides, trying to take a drink or eat. Yikes!!!
I’ve been a few times and never had any complaints. All the events have been good, I guess the seats could be a little more comfortable and more roomy. Overall great venue👍
