I purchased an alternator from TAE, and it failed within minutes. I installed charged batteries (diesel), it took a bit to get started, probably ran the starter for 30-40 seconds, and it runs the grid heaters while warming up, around 250 amps. They told me I installed dead batteries. Why build a product that can destroy itself, in normal conditions? Rectifier burned, so rectifier is not sufficient for alternator capabilities.
