I purchased a 250 watt high output alternater from TAE for my 2007 Land Rover LR3 4.4. Unfortunately, the ECM will not accept an "upgraded" alternator and the computer strangles the voltage. As a result I was seeing 13.3 volts down to nothing, no charge at all. TAE worked with me to get this resolved, trying several different configurations. Tuscon Alternator Exchange (Pure Power Alternator). Great email customer service from Kris. Bought this 320amp alternator for my set up, I may be only pushing 200amp of power and the 250 would've been plenty but I went with the 320 to really ensure the alternator could breeze through power delivery for me and in case I add new items. Battery lug is a 5/16 (M8) post and I grounded it to the alternator using a 3/8 (M10) bolt and a couple of washers. Alternator also came with the RVC 2pin bypass as well. The guys here have no idea how to answer questions. Their math is absolutely insane and an orangutan may be able to calculate something better than them. And they constantly talk over me when im asking questions. Even spoke with the owner Leonard and the guy had no idea how to answer questions in regards to how their products work and didnt know how to convert calculate how much wattage their amp can allow.

I recently bought a 260 amp alternator for my 88 Caprice. I called and asked a few questions before I ordered just to make sure I was getting the right alternator.
