Great Find – We were greeted by a warm reception upon our arrival. I am embarrassed to say, but we were about 25 minutes late for our reservation. The hostess literally bent over backwards trying to find a seat for us. The decor is lovely. Very warm and cozy and the seats are so comfortable (nice high back chairs - I felt like royalty). We had this incredible, Crab Bruchetta and the Scallops melt in your mouth. Don't Get It – We must be missing something here too. A surly hostess with an equally surly dining room manager got us off on the wrong foot. Service was fine, as was the food. Nothing to write home about. There are other restaurants in Lake Oswego.
Love the atmosphere..however – lately the menu has become a bit 'out there.' Dined with a few couples and they all ordered the soup as there wasn't anything 'everyday Italian' to chose from. Please bring back the classic Italian!
Decadent!!! – Tucci is excellent, we have dined weekends AND weekdays for the most wonderful evening meals! This is one of the best restaurants in the Pacific North West! Highly recommend their seafood dishes: calamari with 2 kinds of aoli, scallops are prepared just heavenly. The steak and ALL OTHER dishes are equally cooked to perfection. Superb!!!! – What a pleasant surprise. From some of the reviews, we had a different impression. The wines are not overly priced (some $5-6 per glass and up), maybe they've accommodated to the complaints. The meal was one of the best we've ever had. Tucci is Wonderful – Love the Pearl, but don't want the parking or driving hassles? This surpasses the Pearl upscale restaurants. It is divinity, you will pay for top of the line food, wine and service, it is well worth it any night, or special occassion. Will return over and over and recommend!
Fantastic lunch – My husband and I invited another couple to meet us for lunch at Tucci's after visiting the Lake Oz farmers market in October. The ambience was cozy rustic elegance, the service was extremely attentive, and the food was outstanding. The prices were about right for this upscale little ristorante... we'll be back for dinner.
Good for Specials – Tucci has a very good assortment of "special" type dishes which I enjoy from time to time. However, I prefer the authentic italian pasta dishes served at Ricardo's in Lake Grove.
Worth A Visit! – A nice "big city" feel for cozy Lake O. Food very good-- the scallops are FABULOUS!--BBBBUUUTTT, need MUCH more variety on their menu, or more daily specials. They say they don't have many daily specials because the menu changes so often, I have not found this to be the case. I would love to see a few more options for "regulars". Defiantely worth a try-- great drink selection! Warm, festive atmosphere! Friendly service!
