Stylish and sophisticated, Tucci Ristorante, located centrally in Lake Oswego is an aspirational venue with a sharp focus not just on the food, but the entire experience that makes dining here, such a pleasure. The dining room is a visual delight with the warm hues from the wooden fixtures, walls and lanterns contrasted quite well by the cool palette on the chairs and the illuminated bar. Lighting choices are contemporary and highlight the rustic wall textures quite well. The Bachhus room, with it's deep wooden hues, artwork... read more

Great atmosphere, average food – We really enjoyed the music and atmosphere at Tucci's but frankly, the food did not live up to expectations. Can't comment on all dishes but I ordered the special, which was halibut and it was overcooked, dry and a very small portion. On the other end of the large plate was an equally small portion of spinach. I don't mind small portions but the food better be exceptional and this was not. Our appetizer of bruschetta w/ crab was also a disappointment. It was prepared on one piece of bread whi... read more
good food, nice atmosphere – LO doesn't have a lot of upscale restaurants so it's nice to have a place with a nice atmosphere and good food to go to without going downtown. When it first opened we weren't impressed, the food was cold and uneventful and the service was conceded and incompetent. HOWEVER, in the last few months it has been considerably better. The paperdelle pasta with braised lamb is my favorite. This is not a cheap, hole in the wall so expect to drop $50/p with drinks.
Consisently pleased – Have dined here 2 or 3 times per year over the last several years. Never had a bad service experience and never had a bad or even average meal. In fact we have been so pleased with the food, that we consider the cuisine equal to the best, if not the best, available in the area.
The worst customer service ever – We took a simple question to the owner about a negative experience my wife had. First we (gently and kindly--as we simply wanted the owners to know about the incident) spoke to a manager, who was very kind and responsive. She said the owner would call. He did, and launched into an irrational tirade. The details can't be published on city search, but needless to say, he was not only rude, but someone else may fall victim to what we had seen as a highly consequential act of carelessness. Stellar, as always... – Spectacular food, wonderful ambiance, and very good service. Still my favorite - I bring visiting friends and family here often. For those of you who wrote "below average" reviews (I wondered whether they were actually at Tucci), do give it another try, especially now the expansion is complete. There clearly is a reason it has such a substantial and loyal following. It's a gorgeous place with fabulous food.
Not what I expected! – Nice ambience, overpriced and dissapointing. I ordered a prociutto Panini sandwich with fresh mozzerella which looked great, but...it was stone cold and not grilled. Richly priced and not at all what I expected.
Some stunning dishhes, but . . . – One of their most basic second dishes, parpadelle, has been incredibly good twice - once with wild boar and once with braised lamb. Truly extraordinary. But the caesar salad is a few leaves with a bit of shaved cheese - I estimate their profit margin on this at about 90%. Ravioli was pretty bland twice. The wine list is far too expensive for the cuisine: there are only a few bottles under $45. And the place has moved from busy to frantic: way too much hectic bustle, emphasis on hectic. We d... read more
Still consistent. – Pretty good food. The wine needs to be stored in cooling unit, as we always have to ask for our RED wine on ice. They do fish dishes with ease, some of the best scallops on this West Coast. More of a French flaire, not so much Italian, but prepared very well. Staff seems rushed and busy, but they try to take care of you. The open environment is loud, but appropriately so. Looking forward to the additional space. Great Wine List, mostly Italian. Still doing a great job with the meals after the 4 years of b... read more
Modern northern Italian cuisine served in a chic dining room makes a visit to the 'burbs worth the drive. – In Short This downtown trattoria attracts a steady buzz of locals with its rustic, warm atmosphere and upscale cuisine. Large windows dressed in silky bronze and gold curtains frame the open dining room, where Tuscan style wooden tables and cushy booths fill with business clientele at lunch and well dressed locals when the dinner hour strikes. The elegant cisine matches the setting with dishes of veal osso bucco sided ... read more
