Repeat customer here new, custom, repairs, advice and kitty love, I feel so cared for by the staff and owner at TSHATSHKE. I have now started to refer to the artists at the shop as “my jewelers” cuz they make me feel like an important customer every time. I give 5 stars for the skills and precision but I also shop recommended shopping here cuz they’re kind, thoughtful and cool.
I came to Tshatshke looking for a custom engagement ring and couldn't be happier with my experience at this shop. The customer service was excellent. Maddy is a really talented artist and is great to work with. I had a basic idea of what I was looking for, and she and the team worked with me 1:1 to flesh out the design until we landed on the perfect ring concept. Working with Maddy was an absolute pleasure, I was so happy to have somebody just as stoaked as I was when designing an engagement ring. I am looking forward to future anniversaries so I can work with Maddy and the team again.
I was drawn in by the Yiddish name and Hebrew writing in the window, but as a German, the vibe and offensive Merch felt unsettlingly familiar to my country's darkest past. Even more shocking was discovering the owner openly admits in her own review responses to refusing service to other Jews multiple times. Truly disturbing.
Maddy / the team at Tshatshke are the best! So thoughtful and collaborative! My partner and I picked up our wedding bands and we couldn't have been more stoked with how they turned out. Very thankful to have found such a chill and kind jeweler in Philly!
