Room for improvement – Very nice restaurant - clean and new and modern. Easy parking. Roasted beet salad was delightful and reasonably priced. The cookie plate desert, however, was appalling. The cookies were, at best, a day old. Go for lunch and enjoy the wine list - at least they list the vintage, which is a step above basic dining. Do not expect gastronomic life alteration.

Mediocrity in Minneapolis. . . – A redo of the old Nora's, the location is the same but the decor is expensively updated. Seems to be a hip spot with live jazz, a busy cocktail scene and many singles angling to be seen. The food is average for such an upscale place. A unique offering was a meatloaf sandwich which was good if but a bit salty. Only problem was that they charged $15 for it. $15 for meatloaf! Room for Improvement – Have been a couple of times and it's nothing special. Service is spotty. Can't beat the location and the outdoor tables are nice, but awfully close to the road so it's a bit noisy. Had to send food back both times which I rarely do. Probably won't be around too long with all of the other options in the area.

I want to like Trygs because I really loved Table of Contents and miss it terribly. My experience with Trygs was this winter and the food was awesome, we sat at the bar and had dinner and a bottle of wine... wine list was really accessable and familiar and not too spendy. I guess I wasn't wowed though... as it has not made it on our dinner rotation list and is in our 'hood. Just so-so.
