They ruined therapy for me for years! All they did was force me to comply rather than listen. As an adult I still have problems with being forced to hug or be held. And if I didn’t comply I was locked into the room until I was willing to do what they want. Didn’t care what I said. It ruined my relationship with my parents for years. Our family was supported in healing and connection to real help in the trauma my family had. Without clinicians like Ken and others my family would not have been helped. Our deepest gratitude and appreciation for the lifelong support!
After over ten years of work we are worse off than when we started. We hoped for direction and a path towards healing. Unfortunately for us the outcome was negative and the approach was detrimental to better emotional health. We lost our son and he lost a forever family.
I give this place 10 out of 5 I want to start off by saying I'm an adopted child of two wonderful people, my mom, dad, &self are graduates of the program many years ago. The therapists and support staff here are top notch. Our family has benefited so much through our time at the Attachment Institute. We feel that our family now has a solid foundation to grow together in our journey called "life"!!!!! Can not recommend more highly!
