About this business

Trundle Manor is a must-visit when in Swissvale. This unique place stands out from the neighborhood homes because of the coffins donning the entrance. Step inside for an intriguing exhibition of oddities with macabre leanings. Peruse the eclectic collection for gas masks, medical instruments, animal skulls, weapons, antiques, art and sculptures. Their assortment of vintage taxidermy deserves a special mention.

Our niece came into town from Philadelphia to visit. She had looked for things to do in town prior to coming to visit and found Trundle Manor. We made an appointment and took the entire family. Velda was so friendly, and patient with our 10 year old's questions! Our niece had a great time and bought a variety of fabulous pins to take home. They have an extensive collection and a great story for the items on display. We especially loved the secret passage and laboratory!!

Trundle Manor is home to many amazing pieces of awesomely preserved and well displayed collection of jarred remains and taxidermy. Also check out the bindle display near the speculums! The hosts are some of the kindest and most knowledgeable people you could ever hope to meet! I definitely recommend several visits to see everything!

Velda made this an awesome family experience! She let the kids ask so many questions and happily explained the amazing collection of oddities to them. FASCINATING place.

The owners were so kind, hospitable, and knowledgeable! They took the time to show us their amazing oddities collection, and explain the history and background of everything we questioned. We really enjoyed our tour, we will be returning soon... and even possibly hold my bridal shower here. This was such a unique and welcoming place to visit. Thank you for having us!!!
