What a fun experience ! We wondered in after coming from a cocktail hour in downtown San Diego . We had spent most of the day at the beach and lounging around so we came in not very dressed up on a Sunday night looking for good oysters and martinis . This is our second experience at Truluck's, but every year on my birthday my husband has brought me this carrot cake and that was how we discovered this awesome restaurant. This is our first time sharing the experience as a family, and from the valet to the personal service at the door to the excellent table sservice, food and beautiful celebration of my birthday to the follow up personal phone call we received today it was incredible. Spectacular as always. The best raw-shellfish in San Diego and thoroughly surprised and delighted to see our favorite mixologist Gary working here behind the bar. Awesome move Trulucks, we can't wait to come back.
In town for a few days and decided to go for dinner. So glad we did. We will make sure to visit again when in town. The food was beyond our expectations, so delicious. Service was excellent, and even had a phone call today from the manger to make sure we had a good experience. Very impressed, can't wait to go again.
It was a great dining experience. Loved the live music and ambience. The crab cakes, seabass...amazing!
