I chose this Hotel on Expedia. I really liked it, clean to my taste, I loved no carpet on the floors, the pillows were not comfortable for me. Also I noticed the walls were thin, I could hear loud noise, man coughing. I know its not a luxurious hotel, but the availability of TV options are slim, it would be great to add more options. Stayed two nights this past weekend. This is our 2nd time at this property. Once again, can't say enough about the staff, they are great! Clean, comfortable entry, reception area and lounging area. We left early yesterday morning, 4:30 am. Fresh cup of coffee that early prior to hitting the road is definitely worth mentioning. Room was great. We were on the 4th floor as we needed a room that a dog or cat haven't slept in. Very accommodating.
I stayed at the TRU by Hilton in Duluth, and I’m truly impressed by the level of service I received for the price. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming—they greet you with a smile and “good morning” at breakfast. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, the laundry area is very convenient, and the large TV even welcomed me by name! There’s also a great entertainment zone with billiards and nice lounge area. Location was great and next to the mall.! However the rooms are tight with limited space but clean. there is no real closet in the room to store your things. There was only a rack and hangers. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was an $100 fee if you didn’t return the cart back down in 1 hour upon arrival. The checkin staff never stated that but it was in small writing on the cart so beware of that!!! One of the elevators were down during our visit but it did not hinder our stay much. Breakfast was just okay.
