This review is not for the hotel, but for the shuttle service. I decided to use this shuttle service as last minute for an emergency trip and it took 20 minutes for the shuttle to pull up to take us to the airport. The driver did not put my bag in the van, I had to do it myself. No customer service, no hello, no nothing. On the way back I had to call the hotel to send the shuttle to the airport, again no customer service from the driver, no hello, I had to put my own bag in the van. The location is great for an early morning flight from Grand Rapids, there are many hotel choices in the area and I suggest you try them. First, I prepaid for my hotel room and the clerk ( I didn’t get her name) asked me to verify the last four digits of my card, which she read to me, they were different. She then charged me a second time for the same room. I showed her my confirmation-she said she couldn’t reverse the charge, I asked for the manager , he was offsite and she refused to call him. The stay was good. Facilities and parking were very good. Getting a refund on the incidental charges..not so easy..at all.

Tracy was outstanding—always helpful, welcoming, and smiling from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast had a great variety of options and was truly enjoyable. A wonderful stay at Tru by Hilton Grand Rapids Airport!
