Always have xceptional food. The only thing i have a problem with is why two shots of whiskey costs 14.00. Nothing fancy Should lower the price a bit. But service was excellent
Have had a nice girl's lunch one day and a small dinner with a friend--I tend to forget how good this place is--very good service, table clothes and a wonderful atmosphere it's worth it to drive out there from my Southside to eat in Johnston and it's been there a while to as I remember eating there with Mom when she was moving around and Lindsay was little. A GOOD PLACE TO GO OFF THE SOUTHSIDE/JILL'S SIDE OF TOWN!!!

Came here for lunch 1 - 1:30 pm on 12/18/17. We are from Cedar Rapids and our friends reside in Johnston. The 4 of us stood at the hostess station for 5 -10 minutes and no one came to seat us nor did any of the servers who looked at us even acknowledge our presence. So we left. We drove to Grimes and had an incredible lunch and experience at "The Radish".
Excellent food & fantastic staff! Staff was quite attentive but not overbearing. Had a wonderful experience... Recommend Greenbriar to anyone.
I need to come here more often. The corn meal encrusted Walleye with Butternut Squash Risotto was delicious!
