UPDATE: Update: When I pulled apart my Hayward screen filter it was so plugged that cleaning was impossible so I needed to replace the screens. Another $180.00 thank you to Tropical Paver sealing. NOT. THEN 1 day later my pump stopped pumping. Tearing into it I find the excessive sand and grit had destroyed the pump seal. Having to replace that. After all this damage I researched the PROPER way these people should seal pavers around a pool. 1) When you clean you clean away from the pool not into it. 2) When applying the seal... read more
The work itself was great but the tech did not put a "sock filter" over the skimmer and had the pool full of sand and mold from the pavers. When I confronted him about it he said oh it isn't that bad (yes it was) and then after I insisted he put a filter in the skimmer he claimed he did not have one. So I told him to stop and get one. He magically found one on the truck. In the mean time my Hayward screen filter got so plugged that water stopped flowing.
