RecommendedMy old man worked there years ago. On Saturdays it was a childhood playground on the old cars. I miss the memories and the smell of the shop. So long old friend.
years ago, my daughter was from out of town, broke down out in Belton and they had her towed in, could have really taken advantage of her, but told her it was a minor repair, had her fixed up and on her way. so sad they are closed. Now granddaughter needs help in Midtown and I went looking for them. Hate that they are gone
Thank you! I was leaving for a trip and wrote a check to cover estimated repairs on my second vehicle…an old van…when I got back, Aaron told me it was really just a loose wire and a used up battery! Troostwood staff did a great job for me when my battery died on that record-coldest day. The place was in full operation ready for anything when I pulled in early. My friend had jumpstarted my battery so I could get there, but I needed a new one. I also needed to have them replace the broken plastic and signal light, a broken side view mirror, and windshield wipers plus I needed oil. They got everything done that day, and each person was very kind to me, and they did it all at a very reasonable price including labor. Amazing... read more
I had body work done --fine. decided to have a tune up. I took it 5 blocks and took it back. it never ran again. I left it there , they WILL NEVER take responsibility for their bad work. all summer it sat there with the hood up, while they took parts off my car for other cars. they took all my belongings out of the car --all tools , all my car paperwork , registration etc. plus I think their dog was living in it since there was hay in it. NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE . . . I've been coming here for a few years and was sad to hear that the former garage manager had passed away. Thought I would continue to support the place - they'd been great in the past. When I went in for some minor work, I had a hard time getting the guy's attention in the garage. He walked away from me twice - but I finally was able to tell him what I needed. Picked up my car later and was standing in the lobby to pay my bill.
