Friendly and attentive staff, great beer selection, and the best Reuben I've ever had!
First time at the Troll Tavern. Great food and service. Will definitely be back!
The wait time was low for our party of 9 which was nice. The view of the river and tubing was fun. The service was very slow. We had to go up to the bartender to get stuff like extra plates and water. Some of the food was good- the fish and chips and the brats. This is not good German food though, The Wienerschnitzel was very small and came out over cooked, the steak was extremely tough and grisly- completely inedible. The burger we ordered med rare came out well done. The Ruben was on par with Arby's.
Great service and food. It is always a favorite spot to visit when in Helen.
Great scenery. Beer is over priced and food was not good. Been there half dozen times hoping things would get better. It hasn't!

This is the worst place to eat!!!! Not only did I wait for three hours.. food was not worth the wait!! The waiters was so bad! They left a table of six ppl in the rain while they where eating and said they didn't have seating inside when they did I went in an looked. I spent $125.00 for nothing but bad food and wet food!!!
The seating was ok, the food ok, the prices ok. Nothing fantastic, nothing bad. However, our server, J.R., was great. He helped make suggestions on menu choices, provided all of us with water along with the beverages we ordered, kept an eye on our refills and quickly provided those when needed, etc. So Kudos to J. R.
