FINANCIAL NIGHTMARE. $8,000 just for ONE tooth. Done by Dr. Douglas Trippel, DDS. The first implant failed and second one was placed too high and outward. I found out that my gums around implant were infected at another dentist. I had spent almost $3,700 just for a post $2,000 for a crown but the crown was wasted due to the failure of the first implant post. I have to spend $2,000 more for placing a crown. I complained but no response. They had tried to collect a fee that never been done.
Have 4 wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Trippel. One tooth involves incision. The doctor told me it will be a piece of cake during consulting, even though I heard a lot of scary stories of wisdom teeth removal. Today I did the surgery, it really is! The whole extraction phase took about 10 minutes. Before I knew it, he already pulled out the needles that sew my wounds. What happened after that was amazing. Got all my wisdom teeth extracted at Dr. Douglas Trippel's office. My case is fairly easy as roots of my teeth did not reach any nerve, but I had been scared by other people's general experience of wisdom teeth removal. Surprisingly, I did not feel that much pain at all after the surgery by Dr. Trippel. I was under general anesthesia but I can still hear people talking and working. Dr. Trippel made a bad experience the best he could. They do a fine job and have a great sense of humor which really helps during those times.
does a great job on our 12 year old who needed some implants
I had an implant done and when I went back to have the second stage done he opened my gum and said my implant was infected and I may have to have it done over again. I said I don't have any insurance money left until next year. He then made me an appointment to have it checked in December. I am uncertain if my implant procedure will be successful or not.
I had a wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Trippel and I am usually very anxious about surgery and dentistry in general. I only have words of praise for the way in which Dr. Trippel dispelled my anxiety, and about the procedure itself. If you want a Doctor with a great sense of humor and very knowledgeable in the area of oral maxillofacial surgery this is your doctor. He is amazing and the cost is less than any other estimate I received. I highly recommend this Doctor!
