Triple tails was absolutely horrible. Not only the service was horrible but the food was as well. We ordered a sprite and it was awful, tasted like dirty dish water, and when we told them they brought us back another sprite that still wasn't right. We ordered a low country boil that was supposed to come with crab, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. It came with one piece of corn and no potatoes. The food was top notch! The seafood platter was enough to share and the fried green beans were off the chain. The only thing was service was a little slow, but they were PACKED so it was understandable.
As far as food quality, it was ok. Nothing that stands out to make me want to go back. However, on a Sunday, options for eating out are limited, so they get the biz. Servers were fine, took longer to get our check than to get our orders placed. Hostess unfortunately sets a bad tone, doesn't greet you, doesn't smile, and her body language and movement say she would rather be anywhere else but here.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I waited 45 minutes for food. I called for a take out order. I waited for oysters and was told the kirtchen was behind. I had two orders put on the take put bar. 30 minutes later I was still waiting on side order of fries for two orders. The first 2 orders sat getting cold. I told the waitress I wanted hot food. She was rude and the manager was called. He was was worse than her. I left with no food after a 45 minute wait. Bad service and a manager that doesn't care.
oysters not good. sent back. afraid to eat them. ordered gumbo instead. no more pitchers of beer.
We were there over an hour, we got our food and it was raw, had to send it back they did not take any off our bill or even offer to make it right in any way. As a matter of fact the waitresses were discussing that they should do something and they asked the manager and she said no we cooked them a new one that's good enough.
This is a wonderful place to eat! The Mahi tacos are awesome and the key lime pie is worth every cent. We had 8 people and we were well taken care of and the place was busy!! Definitely worth the drive from Mexico Beach!!
Love this place, great service very personable, and better prices than everyone else!
Hugely overpriced for crappy Long Jon Silver food. We had 12 people to feed and they forget half the order. It was to go because we did not want to have another two hour wait here in The Cape Port St Joe. I had to drive 15 min back there again to go back and get the rest of the food. Beautiful area but if I ever go back don't go out to dinner. Pack all food to cook in every night. �
