Gumbo was awful. Tasted like chili. Don’t care for the new menu at all. Service was good though. There just isn’t much on the menu. I live here and we eat seafood. You’d think a seafood place would know how to make gumbo

I live in Port St Joe and before moving here a year ago, visited often and Triple Tails was ALWAYS my to go place to eat. I am pleased with the new ownership of this establishment and the food. If you are visiting our home town, sit back, chill and relax! Who cares if the place is "packed"! You are at the beach! Enjoy...have a cocktail and enjoy your stay in our beautiful town.

Triple Tails in St. Joe under new management. We were told upon ordering that the Shrimp is FRESH. It arrived too salty to eat and WAY over cooked. The chef tried to excuse it by saying that “the batter just didn’t stick quite right when thawing it out”. This “fine” establishment is 1 mile from a fresh local Shrimp market. NO excuses! Even worse, the "suggested" 15% tip was really 30 %. Expensive, crooked and bad. We live here so it’s REALLY a shame because we would dine here year round. It’s just also sad for tourists that ... read more
