You must see Blu for your color!!!! – Don't be put off by his name-Blu is the best colorist in the city! I never thought it was that difficult to cover my grey, but several colorists at other high-end salons always made my hair black, and without dimension. After seeing Blu one time, I'm 100% loyal. Best color stylist Renata – I have been going to see Renata for the past 2 years now. I am so glad that I have finally found a colorist that knows what I want and is able to satisfy her clients. I have seen colorists off and on for the past years, and I finally found one. If you want a drastic look she is eager and ready to do what you want. Best haircut!! Shelly Aguirre – Shelly at Trio really gave me a great haircut! It was exactly what I wanted. She really has a way of making you feel at home when she talks to you about your hair. I feel like I've know her for years. Alot of salons have too much attitude if you know what I mean, but not at Trio. The ENTIRE staff was great! I will be telling all of my friends and co-workers about Shelly and the wonderful experience that I had at Trio!! Thank you Shelly for the great cut! I love it!!
Best Cut – Aaron is an incredible stylist. Honestly, you will feel like your appointment is taking hours, and not in a bad way, he takes so much time and care to make sure he cuts just perfectly -- the appointment really only takes about an hour, and it's well worth it. The only reason I took away one star is because the salon itself could use some adjustments... it's a bit stuffy and some of the staff need to improve their people skills. Aaron however is very personable and kind.
Cheesy! Terrible service; long wait; pretentious employees; NO HOT WATER! – I can't believe how many good reviews there are for this place. I've been three times to three different stylists because I thought I was just having bad luck. They talk a good game and maybe they have some credentials (although not all of them do; check this out carefully), but they're totally out of touch. No one can do anything modern. Chris Grummel?TRIO – I have not received as many compliments on a haircut as I did when Chris Grummel from Trio cut my hair. I loved it! Chris your Awesome! LOVE MY HAIR!!!!! – I have been seeing Shelly Aguirre from Trio for about 3 haircuts now and I can't believe how much I FINALLY like my hair. Every time I go in and see her I am thrilled with the results!! She just gave me a whole new look for spring and I can't stop running my fingers thru my hair. It's super cute!!!!!! BEST COLORIST/HIGHLIGHTS IN CHICAGO-DIANA MILDICE – BEST COLORIST IN CHICAGO-DIANA MILDICE. Diana is a perfectionist when it comes to color/highlights and making her clients happy. She takes the time to understand the client and discusses the end result, which is always fabulous. My hair is always shiny and healthy looking. Diana really enjoys what she is doing and her work shows it.
Trio Salon is GREAT! – I went to see Chris Grummel on the 21st of May, and I absolutely love the haircut he gave me. Not too sure how long he will be there since he's there for his training but he is awesome! He worked with me in deciding EXACTLY what I wanted and I look fabulous now!
