Great location, manager is a delight, and my maintenance requests have been taken seriously. The building itself is well kept. The reason for 2 stars is because it is not a non-smoking building. So, if your neighbor chooses to smoke inside their unit there is nothing management can or will do. The building frequently smells like smoke in the lobby and it comes into my unit because the person below me smokes inside. It never occurred to me in the year 2024 to ask if the building is smoke free and now I’m stuck ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Love the apartment and the location. Main complaint: Maintenance requests that are not deemed "urgent" by the office staff never get done unless we pester them nonstop for weeks or months. If we give up before they actually send maintenance, it's back to square one. Secondary complaint: Shared amenities are not always maintained. If the outdoor fireplace or the exercise equipment breaks, it stays broken for an outrageous amount of time. The rooftop is a shadeless eyesore that never gets attention.
