Wendy rocks with curls! – I have naturally curly, thick, coarse hair. I have had many bad experiences by people who said they know how to cut and style curly hair. I was about to give up and buy stock in hats. I finally found Wendy at Tribe about 2 years ago and have been going to her regularly ever since. I was initially impressed by his hair education/background and very knowledgeable (and witty) blog. Natasha at tribe is great! – Natasha is honest and does a great job with cut and color. She won't have you pay for a service you don't need and really strives to do what you ask. Plus she's super nice!
Heather- hype warranted – I read about Heather here on Citysearch and called to make an appointment. They got me in very quickly, which was a surprise. I have been going to different stylists in Portland for years (the Pearl, NW, SW, everywhere) and have never found what I was looking for.
