Billing issues vision insurance refuses to pay because MD filed wrong code and seems this is ongoing problem with provider not qualified under vision insurance. No resolution yet.
Said they took my insurance and confirmed that multiple times. They did not and charged almost $400 for a regular checkup. No answers or responses when I called to dispute the bill.
After lengthy stay in hospital and rehab, I took step-mother to TriaVision where she had gotten her last exam and glasses. The glasses needed to be adjusted and we also needed to check and make sure the prescription was correct because she can't see out of them. (Luckily she has her old pair.) When we went in and asked to see someone, the girl at the desk said the doctor was out until August and when we asked who had taken their place, she just said they were out until next week. The staff was nice but I had my eyes checked twice and still couldn't get a prescription that I could see with. After that I went to another eye doctor and was told that my glasses only corrected me to 20/30! I'm now getting my glasses made for a 3rd time and this time on my dime. If you have an issue with your eyes they might be okay, but if you need glasses, go somewhere else.
